Soy protein products can be good substitutes to animal products because, unlike some other beans, soy offers a "complete" protein profile. Soybeans contain all the amino acids essential to human nutrition, which must be supplied by diet because they cannot be synthesized by the human body. Soy protein products can replace animal-based foods--which although contain complete proteins but also contain more fat, especially saturated fat--without requiring major adjustments elsewhere in the diet.

Soy protein has the same protein quality score as meat, egg and milk protein. It is 90% protein (on a dry weight basis), is highly digestible and lactose-free.
Scientific researches continues to demonstrate that substituting soy protein to some or all animal proteins in the diet, can lead to beneficial health effects in the area of cholesterol reduction, reducting in coronary heart disease (CHD) risk, relieving women's health concerns, maintaining bone health and potentially protecting against certain forms of cancer.
Most of soy health benefits are because of isoflavones. Isoflavones are naturally occurring plant components and are a subcategory of phytochemicals, found naturally in plants. The isoflavones found primarily in soybean include genistein, daidzien, and glycitein. Recent human clinical research suggests that isoflavones are among the bioactive compounds that work in conjunction with soy protein to lower blood cholesterol.

Add one scoop of soy protein to 200 ml  water, mix throughly and drink between meals.
